I changed water in both my 29 and 45 gallon aquarium today to keep up the regular maintenance and to keep the ammonia low in the 45 gallon. It's been an issue for a while but since my PH is low the ammonia that is in the tank is not lethal to my fish, but either way I'm still working to keep it down.
I bought an insert for my XP3 filter called Zeolite which is suppose to bring your ammonia down and is rechargeable by simply washing it out every 5 days with water.
