Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven’t written a post in over a month but I’m back and gonna be writing again.
At the beginning of May I got a really bad cold so this put me out of commission for about 2 weeks, I had absolutely no energy to do anything. After getting back to normal I didn’t really have anything to write about as I didn’t do much while I was sick so I was at a loss for words to post on my blog.
Then days went by which turned to weeks and I began to doubt the effectiveness of my blog and whether to keep it going or to just shut it down altogether. Then I was thinking of taking it all down, restructuring the design and bringing it back up once complete but I was undecided. In mid May, to boost some morale I did go to the BC Custom Classic Car Show to see if I could get some new content up but after getting home I had zero inspiration to post the pictures on my blog, why I couldn’t tell yeah.
Well after weeks of thinking about it about two nights ago I finally decided that I was gonna shut it down but then something really interesting happened the next day.
The next day at the end of my work day I was just pondering things about my blog and then something magical happened. Without even thinking about it I loaded up Firefox, went to Google, typed in “D16Z6″ and clicked search, to my surprise my very own website was ranked #1.
How could this be? I was shocked as I know I was about 6-9th for months now and then today I was #1. I was very puzzled specially since I haven’t really posted anything new about that subject or anything else for over a month. So then I logged into the back end of my blog and was also shocked as I had lots of comments from people about my blog and how its helping them out with the information that I am providing.
At this moment I was like WTF, whats going on here. So I sent a message to my brother Paul on MSN and said dude check this out I’m number 1 on Google and you know what he said, “Dude the universe is playing with you, its giving you a sign to keep your blog alive.” He knew I was pondering the restructuring or shutting down of my blog days before that so he laughed and said “Once a blogger always a Blogger.”
So at this point I got re-inspired and re-energized to write more posts and pages with great information and help even more people out. So here I am a day later writing this post that I’m here to stay ready to write some more. One thing I might do is still cut down my categories once more to keep my blog more stream lined and efficient but that’s another day.
