Last night I went to see Battleship at the theater and this movie was very entertaining. I like action packed movies that make you jump of your seat with high action scenes and blockbuster stunts and this one definitely did its part. In my opinion I would give this movie an 9/10 score.

We also paid extra for DBOX reserved seating but I wasn’t too impressed with that. It’s a bigger seat with firm cushions that shakes, tilts and vibrates during the movie but after about 10 minutes I had to turn my off as I found it more annoying then entertaining. And because the seat was more firm my butt more soar then usual. For any future movies I will opt out of the DBOX seating as its just not worth the extra cost.

I seen two movies on the weekend one at the theater called Source Code and the other was at home called Faster.

Source Code:

Source Code was a very interesting concept, reminded me of movies like Inception or DeJe Vu. These kinds of movies mess with your mind and reality so at first your like wow hold on whats this, but after watching it you realize it was actually a great idea.

Faster:

Faster was a little slow but still good. It had the kick butt no matter what kinda theme. The Rock did a good job in this roll but I would have to say its a guys action packed guns blazing car chasing kinda movie.

I heard through a friend that the Vancouver Auto Show is a bit of a disappointment this year so I decided to skip it and instead go see a movie tonight. I’m going to see The Source Code which looks good from the trailer. I’ll do a review on it tomorrow. Till then peeps.

I have seen three movies in the last two weeks and here is my review of all of them as they were all worth mentioning.

Battle: Los Angeles:

Battle: Los Angeles was a great movie with lots of action, great special affects and acting was good too. A very similar movie last year called Skyline was all hype but failed half way through were this movie carried itself all the way to the end.

Limitless:

Limitless was very original and well written and Bradley Cooper did a great job with the leading roll. Robert Deniro was also in this movie but for me it seemed like a very short roll although well played.

Adjustment Bureau:

Adjustment Bureau was really interesting and was kind of like the Matrix, where it played with your mind about other realities so if your not ready for it, it kind of scares you. But overall the acting was great and I enjoyed it as i didn’t want to see another Bourne Identity remake. Emilia Blunt was gorgeous in this movie and a very talented actress.

Adjustment Bureau Trailer

I just came back from the theater after seeing Red with Bruce Willis and I had a great time watching it. I’ve seen a bunch of movies in the last few months that were more or less OK. But I really had fun with this movie, it made me jump and laugh at the same time it was great.

My Vote 8/10.

I went to see Prince of Persia in the Theater today and it was quite good. I wasn’t too sure what to think of it from the previews but after watching it, I liked it a lot. I will have to see it again once it comes out on Blue-Ray.

This brings back old memories of trying to beat this game but always falling of the ledge and getting killed a thousand times.
