I finally managed to get the pictures off my digital camera that I took at the 2011 BC Classic & Custom Car Show back in April and here is the first set. Stay tuned as more to come in the next few days.
Oh and as you notice at the bottom there is even a Canucks custom painted Malibu, ready to cheer on our team. GO Canucks GO!
The BC Classic & Custom Car Show is coming once again in 2011 on April 30 to May 1st at the Abbotsford Tradex. Lots of great cars and stars to see including George Barris, Big Schwag, and Karen Lee Batten on stage, and if you wait till after 8pm there will be NITRO DRAG RACING too.

Hours of Show: Friday: 5pm – 10PM / Saturday: 10AM – 10PM / Sunday: 10AM – 5PM
Parking: $5.00
The 2011 Vancouver International Auto Show is coming March 29th to April 3rd at the Vancouver Convention Center. I’m planning to go and take lots of pictures like previous years so stay tuned to my blog for details. Clink here to a link to the Floor Plan.

Driven to Perform the annual motor sports auto show is happening again this year on July 16 at the Rocky Mountaineer Station in Vancouver. Soon as there is more info available I’ll post it on my blog.

The 32nd Annual Coast Swap Meet is this May 28 and 29, 2010. It’s a good place to buy and barter old car parts and meet a great bunch of people. I’ve attended a bunch of times in the past few years and always likes what I’ve seen so if you get a chance go check it out this year. If you click on the image below you will get sent to the main website for the swap meet which has more info.
I was checking into any more info about this years Driven to Perform show at BC Place Stadium and stumbled upon some bad news. The DTP show is suspended this year due to the global economic situation and the auto industry taking such a big hit. I was really eager to go and see this year’s event and this news is really disappointing to hear but more importantly lots of businesses that were suppose to be at this years show will definetly be affected by this news. Hopefully next year the situation will get better and the Driven to Perform event will be back at BC Place Stadium to inspire and wow future car enthusiasts.

I went to the Vancouver Auto Show today and took some pictures of some vehicles and thought I would share them here.
There are 2 car shows coming up this year that I am excited to go to again. The first one is the Vancouver International Auto Show which is on March 31 to April 5 and the 2nd one is the DriventoPerform event on May 30th. Once again I will take lots of pictures and post them on the site.
As you may have noticed my posts have been very scarce this month as the winter weather slowed things down on my RC D16 Turbo Build and I’m also trying to save money for the machining of the block but after the holidays my budget is really tight. In the last few months the world financial sector has been very shaky which has made me think about tightening my spending habbits but at the same time I believe anything can be achieved if you put your mind into it. I still want to have a Turbo D16 Honda Civic this summer but will see how things turn out so stay tuned to the site for more updates.
