Rest in Peace Echo Godin

Echo Godin a Sharpe Mastiff mix was a great dog, a companion, a mother and an awesome buddy. She was born on May 11, 1999 and past on to heaven tonight on March 28, 2011.

In the past year I have gotten really close to her as she reminded me of my old pal Rocky who passed away around Xmas back in 2008.  Echo and I didn’t really see eye to eye when we first met but once I got to know her and she got to know me we became very close. Even her owner Tracey Godin said that the other day “Boy you too are getting close”.  She had a very kind and warm personality and barked only if she didn’t know who you were.

I am So Sorry Tracey that you lost this great companion who has been your best friend for the past 12 years. She will be missed by lots of people and her daughter Angel.  Farewell great friend we will miss you.

Rocky Piotrowski Farewell Great Friend and Companion

Rocky Piotrowski our 2nd family dog fell ill on Friday from a pinched nerve in his spine and with his complications of diabetes lost feeling and mobility in his rear left leg. After some x-rays and a diagnosis from the vet he was put on some medication to try to fix his issue and get his mobility and feeling back. Unfortunately even with the medication and care he was unable to regain his the mobility back and with him suffering like this the only choice we had was to let him join our long pasted dog Cezar in doggy heaven.

Ever since Friday even with the medication to make him feel better he was so sad as he was stuck laying on the floor and could not move around. He couldn’t go pee unless I carried him out side and helped him stay up. It was a very sad thing to see him like this as I know it wasn’t his fault but just old age and complications of diabetes. From the x-ray we also found out that his hip joint had deteriorated and this was probably causing him pain too.

He had a loud bark to let you know he was around or that he needed food or water but was extremely passionate and caring. He was as gentle as a butterfly and even allowed my little 4 year old nephew feed him food right into his mouth and never showed any aggression at anyone. He wasn’t too friendly to other dogs but he stayed at home and in the back yard so that was never an issue. When I was smaller he use to jump on my bed and keep my feet warn on cold winter nights and never asked for anything but food and a pat on the back. We got him in 1996 and he past away Today Dec 22, 2008 at 12:00pm. Rocky lived to be 12.5 years old which is a decent age for larger dogs of his size. He was a great dog and friend, the best golden retriever/lab cross ever..

Rest in Peace Rocky and take care of Mortimer and Ceazer in Heaven.

Farewell Mortimer "Munch" Klein Rest in Peace

This past weekend was a sad one as my sister’s dog Mortimer Munch Klein died on Sunday morning at 1:31am at the Vet. He was a sharpei and was born on August 1st 2005. He was having seizures for the past few years and my sister and her husband did what they could to find out why, but unfortunately the vets failed them. Mortimer is leaving his adopted sister Peeka who is also a sharpei and I know she will miss him dearly. I have chosen to write this post to make sure Mortimers’ memory continues on and will never be forgotten just as the former family dog Ceazer.  Agata do not worry as I am sure that Ceazer and Mortimer will find each other in doggy heaven, and will keep each other company.

Rest in Peace Mortimer Munch Klein

In Loving Memory of Our Family Dog Cezar 1993 to 2008

Today was a very emotional day because our family dog Cezar has ended his journey in this world and is now in doggy heaven. He was born in May 1993 and was put to sleep peacefully today at 2:45pm at the vet. He was 15 years old and has had a good and long life. The last 2 years his quality of life has decreased with arthritis in the back legs, constant poor skin conditions and a big loss in his weight.

He was a great dog, a companion, a true friend, a legend, he was Cezar. He also went by two names the Polish way was Cezar and the Canadian way was Ceazer. He was a dog loved by everyone in the family and loved us back till the end. Cezar and our other dog Rocky were best buds and always watched over one another. When Rocky was sick last year and had to stay 4 days at the vet hospital, Cezar wouldn’t stop looking for him around the house and was constantly waking up to check if his buddy came home. When Rocky did come home Cezar gave him shit by yelling at him and wouldn’t leave him alone, he couldn’t believe his buddy came back. They became even closer after that and slept together side by side.

When Cezar’s old age condition started to really affect him Rocky noticed this and would try to protect him and watch over him. Rocky would start barking to let us know that Cezar needed help getting up as he was to weak in his back legs to get up. Cezar would sometimes have issues walking up the 3 patio stairs, so Rocky would start barking to get our attention so we would lift Cezar up to the patio. Rocky would even put his head on Cezar’s stomach to show him he was there for support and protection.  They had a great bond, a true friendship, they were… The Piotrowski Dog Duo Cezar and Rocky.

Rest in Peace Cezar We Miss You.
